Digital Health and IT
expert in Precision Medicine
I am a collaborative, insightful and articulate Leader with extensive experience developing and managing projects, programs and organizations that support emerging technology and address policy and ethical challenges. I’m also a licensed attorney with more than 20 years of litigation experience, a published author and editor of 10 books, an author of 60+ peer-reviewed journal articles and a thought leader driving conversations and critical thought around emerging and converging technology, blockchain adoption, artificial intelligence and big data utilization.
I’m adept at identifying prospective research value, managing critical projects, solving complex problems and delivering on objectives. I engage with stakeholders across departments, levels and geographies to understand and capitalize on economic development opportunities. I have strong research and analysis skills and can deliver compelling presentations and education experiences.
As Co-Founder and CEO of Encrypgen, Inc., a next-generation software company and the developer of blockchain solutions for DNA and Health Science providers, I define and articulate vision while leading all functions of this decentralized organization. I employ specialized, multi-discipline knowledge to study, identify and interpret marketplace trends and to guide production of disruptive company tools and offerings. Most notably, I have:
• Built the company from the ground up, secured financing and delivered our novel product to market before larger, well-financed competitors. We’ve successfully proven our blockchain product in the market within 2 years.
• Driven product development across the lifecycle, from hiring the team to managing the timeframe and controlling the scope.
• Been featured in multiple media articles as a primary thought leader within the emerging genomic blockchain market.
• Co-Founded a nonprofit organization to mitigate blockchain barriers to adoption within the Healthcare industry and contribute to IEEE-ISTO standards for product development.
I’ve also been an Adjunct Professor at the State University of New York at Buffalo and Delft University and the Education Director at the Council for Secular Humanism.
